From San José, Costa Rica, Adiós Cometa returns with Un Destello de Luz, their most ambitious and emotionally charged album to date. Following the acclaimed Nuestras Manos Son Incendios, which earned them a spot on Remezcla's "10 Latin American Indie Artists to Keep on Your Radar in 2025". This second full-length finds the five-piece pushing deeper into the intersection of shoegaze's sonic textures and emo's raw vulnerability.

Recorded with layers of reverb, chorus, and delay that have become their signature, Un Destello de Luz expands on the band's introspective sound while exploring themes of transformation, parenthood, and the quiet intensity of everyday life.

The album features "El Mundo En Mis Brazos (Leonor)," a stunning collaboration with Lucía Masnatta of Argentine band Fin del Mundo that showcases the collective's ability to balance abrasive noise with moments of devastating beauty.

This release marks a significant moment in Adiós Cometa's trajectory, bringing together three vital labels in the global independent scene: Steadfast Records (USA), Spinda Records (Spain/EU), and Furia (Costa Rica). Available on three limited edition vinyl variants, and packaged with a beautiful 2-panel insert with lyrics and photos.
