Empty Heaven is a project that's essentially a 1-to-1 reproduction of its helmsman, Anthony. It is sprawling, emotionally complex, and most importantly, full of hooks and beauty. Emo and 2000s maximalist indie rock are the skeleton and muscle. All of the other details that make it work come from every snatch of music that crosses Anthony's path.
