Goodnight Nobody: Self-Titled: Limited Edition Black Vinyl LP

Vermont-based three-piece Goodnight Nobody unleashes their self-titled debut from the Green Mountain State. Recorded at Magpie Cage studio in the aftermath of a rare Baltimore snowstorm in February 2026 with J. Robbins at the helm, these 8 tracks incorporate a variety of influences. With songs that are at times melodic, angular, angry, and vulnerable Goodnight Nobody brings together elements that recall the 90s rosters of labels like Dischord and Kill Rocks stars while weaving in elements of second wave emo plus 2000s indie and math rock. 

The trio layers noisy, glitchy guitar over a propulsive rhythm section that employs subtly shifting time signatures while always keeping an ear towards crafting memorable songs.  Lead single Aurora takes inspiration from the chorus heavy basslines of New Order’s Peter Hook and builds into a polemic imagining a scenario where the natural world briefly loosens the grip of technology on our lives. Meanwhile Staircase implores a call to action by painting an urgent picture of climate catastrophe over 5/4 and 6/8 grooves reminiscent of mid 2000s era Radiohead.

This self-titled debut presents a band with a fully formed vision that hints at new directions and a vital future in the world of art/noise/indie rock.  Available on a limited-edition black vinyl pressing as well as CD.
